The Social Christian Democracy leaders in Brazil, assembled on April 5th, 2013, in Curitiba city – PR, during the “VI S-DECRIS SUL-SUDESTE”, approved by unanimity the following official note:

OFFICIAL NOTE

LIBERTY FOR THE BRAZILIANS KIDNAPPED IN BOLIVIA

1. Brazilians, just because they support a Brazilian soccer team, they stay kidnapped in Bolivia for more than 40 days, jailed, without any comproved guilt and with limited defense, what offends the fundamental principles of the Brazilian Constitution and the International Human Rights Conventions.

2. The Social Christian Democracy has a unwavering commitment with the Justice, Liberty and Solidarity causes.

3. Is based in this commitment that the Christian Democracy can not be silent facing this manifest aggression to this values, and therefore REQUIRES to Madam President of the Brazilian Republic, Dilma Rousseff, the immediate and effective intervention of the Brazilian government, through all the legal and politic means needed, ensuring to the kidnapped Brazilians the liberty and also exercise of the rights internationally recognized, of the contradictory, full defense and of the due legal process.

4. And that this governmental action does not have a subaltern face of mere negotiation, but a face of the materialization of the Law and the full realization of the Justice.
